Sebastian Vettel wins the 2017 Hungarian Grand Prix

Sebastian Vettel has extended his world championship lead with victory in the Hungarian Grand Prix at the Hungaroring, ahead of Kimi Raikkonen and Valtteri Bottas.

Vettel and Raikkonen finished less than a second apart after 70 laps of the Hungaroring,
In a nail-biting finish In beautiful Hungary, the German Sebastian Vettel had his team-mate Kimi Raikkonen behind complaining that he could go faster but being used by the team as a buffer against Hamilton.
Vettel, handicapped for most of the race by a steering issue, was indebted to team-mate Raikkonen not challenging him for the lead
as his pace evaporated.

On a day when the Silver Arrows had no answer to the
Scuderia

In a highly risk but sporting move, Lewis Hamilton surrendered
third place to Mercedes stable-mate
Bottas at the final corner after previously being let through by the Finn, and he let team-mate Valtteri Bottas past into third place, honouring a promise he made earlier in the race when the Finn moved aside to let Hamilton attack the two ferraris.

Max Verstappen, who had been penalised 10 seconds for taking his Red Bull team mate Daniel
Ricciardo out of the race on the opening lap.

Ferrari Vettel, Raikonen and Alonso captured the hongaroring today
Great race from vettel i must clearly say that kimi and alonso are the drivers of the day great job from kimi, Fernando Alonso secured his and McLaren’s best result of the year and finished P6 fastest lap
of the Hungarian race.

Vettel's victory with Hamilton in fourth extended his championship lead to 14 points as Formula 1 heads into its four-week summer break.

Chris Froome won Tour de France 2017

Britain's team Sky's  Chris Froome won the Tour de France for the fourth time in Paris on the 21st and final stage.

Groenewegen defeated German Andre Greipel in a frenetic final sprint on the Champs Elysee but the day belonged to 32-year-old Froome.

The Team Sky leader, who described this year's race as the "closest and most hard-fought battle",won
the Tour de France for the fourth time in Paris on the 21st and final stage., and rolled on to the Champs-Elysees with team-mates in a largely ceremonial stage contested by sprint teams,

Rigoberto Uran was second, 54 seconds behind, with Romain Bardet third.
At the end of three weeks, 21 stages and more than 3,500km, Froome finished with a broad grin alongside his team-mates, who wore a special kit for the occasion with their usual blue stripe replaced by a yellow one In honor of
team Sky leader.

"I'm speechless, it is an amazing feeling," Froome said. "There is something magical about the Champs-Elysees when you have spent three weeks thinking about being here in this moment.
"It is amazing to see my wife and son again - it feels like more than a month on the road. Each time I have won has been so unique, such a different battle to get to this moment, they are all so special but
this will be remembered as the closest and most hard.

The final stage of the Tour de France 2017 was a largely processional stage before they reached Paris, the France capital.
But the stage ended in the expected bunch finish - with several teams trying to set up their sprinters before Lotto NL-Jumbo's Groenewegen held off his rivals to cross the line first.

Froome had won the 2013, 2015 and 2016 editions and sits fifth overall in the all-time list of Tour victors behind greats Eddy Merckx, Jacques Anquetil, Bernard Hinault and Miguel Indurain.

Well done Chris for the yellow jersey and team Sky.

Roger Federer wins Wimbledon 2017 and a record 19th Grand Slam singles title

Swiss Roger Federer became the first man to win Wimbledon eight times and extended his record to 19 Grand Slam titles with victory over Croatia's Marin Cilic.

The Swiss third seed won 6-3 6-1 6-4 as seventh seed Cilic struggled with a blister on his left foot
and broke down in tears during the second set. Federer, capping a marvelous fortnight in which he never dropped a set by overwhelming Marin Cilic Sunday at Wimbledon in a lopsided final that was more coronation than contest.

Federer, 35 years old, finished the contest in one hour and 41 minutes to claim his first Wimbledon title since 2012. When it ended on an ace from Federer after merely 1 hour, 41 minutes, he raised both arms overhead. Soon, he was sitting on the sideline, wiping
tears from his eyes.

He becomes the oldest man in the Open Era to win at the All England Club.
"It is cruel sometimes," Federer said of Cilic's physical difficulties.
"But Marin fought well and is a hero, so congratulations on a wonderful tournament."

He is once again the champion of the grass-court Grand Slam tournament, now more often than any other man in the history of an event first held in 1877.

Federer surpasses Pete Sampras and William Renshaw, who won their seventh titles in 2000 and 1889 respectively, with only Marina Navratilova still ahead in terms of Wimbledon singles titles on nine.
He has won two of the three Grand Slam titles so far this year, having returned from a six-month break to win the Australian Open in January.

With 19 major titles he extends his lead over Rafael Nadal in the men's game to four, and now stands joint-fourth on the all-time list with Helen Wills Moody, five behind Margaret Court on 24.

He's a great champion on and off of the court. Congratulations to Roger on 19 slams and 8 Wimbledon titles and to Marion for making it to the final.

Lewis Hamilton wins the British GP 2017 and record fifth home GP

Lewis Hamilton took a dominant home victory at Silverstone to tie the all-time record of five career wins in the British Grand Prix and cut Sebastian Vettel’s championship lead to just a single point

With barely two laps remaining, a front-left puncture deprived Raikkonen of the runner-up slot, while
an apparently identical issue cost Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel a likely fourth place just a lap later, promoting Valtteri Bottas to a Mercedes one-two. Raikkonen recovered to finish third.

Red Bull – off the pace of the frontrunners all afternoon – were the key beneficiaries of the British race, with Max Verstappen fourth and Daniel Ricciardo – the fans’ Driver of the Day after battling his way up from P19 on the grid –fifth.

Behind them, Nico Hulkenberg secured a superb sixth place for Renault – some consolation for the French team after Jolyon Palmer in the sister car went out with hydraulic problems on the formation
lap.

The Force Indias of Esteban Ocon and Sergio Perez took the flag in eighth and ninth respectively, with Felipe Massa the final point scorer for Williams in tenth.

It was a disastrous race for Toro Rosso. Carlos Sainz retired on the second lap after a collision with team mate Daniil Kvyat, who was given a drive-through penalty for causing the incident by rejoining the circuit unsafely. The Russian continued, but floor damage limited him to P15 of the British F1
GP.
Fernando Alonso's was the third and final retirement after pitting his McLaren with power issues shortly after half distance.

Following the podiums celebrations, Hamilton went down to see the crowd, surfing on their
outstretched hands and high-fiving as he ran past the adoring throng.
"The support has been incredible this weekend," he said. "I am so proud I could do this for you all.
Now the plan is to win the championship."

How much of Bad luck can One Team have While another gets away with everything, oh Boy, congrats to Hamilton
Ferrari lost the battle massively. 1. battle with raikkonen on the opening lap cost vettel place to Verstappen 2. they did not swap drivers to protect the champ leader with more than twice of points than raikkonen 3. they did not pit vettel when he was passed by bottas 4. the car was a second per lap slower than mercedes. Feeling sorry for Sebastian Vettel Scuderia Ferrari, a  podium would have been great for him .Anyways, the Championship is alive. No one know what to expect how it might unfold.

Good race from Lewis Hamilton and the championship points are close so it'll be exciting. Mercedes’
Hamilton's victory cut his deficit to Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel to just one point in the championship.

The Mercedes driver equalled the tally of Scot Jim Clark and Frenchman Alain Prost with his fourth home win in a row to add to his first win for McLaren in 2008.

Valtteri Bottas wins the Austrian Grand Prix 2017

Valtteri Bottas dominated the Austrian Grand Prix to take his second victory of the year ahead of Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo.

Courtesy of his second place, Sebastian Vettel has extended his lead of the F1 world championship to 20 points after Lewis Hamilton was unable to pass Ricciardo for the final podium position in the closing stages of the Spielberg race.

It was a dramatic beginning to the race. As Bottas made a getaway so good the stewards’ investigated a potential jump start
After Bottas beat Vettel to pole position by less than a tenth of a second, less than a second separated

their two cars when they crossed the finishing line.
Bottas had survived a lengthy investigation from the stewards over an alleged jump start.

A largely soporific race came alive in the closing laps as Vettel closed on Bottas for the lead and Hamilton did the same to Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo for the final podium place, but the Finn and the Australian both just hung on In their positions.

Kimi Raikkonen took a distant fifth in the second Ferrari, with Romain Grosjean an excellent sixth
for Haas. The Force Indias of Sergio Perez and Esteban Ocon were seventh and eighth, while Williams staged an impressive recovery with Felipe Massa and Lance Stroll – who started 17th and 18th respectively – completing the top ten.

Hamilton started eighth the Austrian GP after a poor qualifying performance and a five-place grid penalty, who had sounded increasingly frustrated during the race, went side-by-side with Ricciardo through Turn Three on the penultimate lap but was unable to make the move stick and prevent Ricciardo from claiming his fifth podium finish in as many races.
The Mercedes driver will be keen to start eating into Vettel's advantage at the British Grand Prix next
weekend.

In stark contrast, Red Bull team-mate Max Verstappen only made it to the first corner before a
collision with Fernando Alonso's McLaren, triggered by Daniil Kvyat, condemned the Dutch youngster to his fifth retirement in the last seven events.
Other retirements were Haas’s Kevin Magnussen and Toro Rosso’s Carlos Sainz, both with technical issues.

Great race, fantastic overall pace. Praise the mental strength of Bottas
Its amazing how Vettel is leading the championship not driving the fastest car. Mercedes are definitely still the fastest cars.
